Somthing i found interesting is that the pilgrim boys had to wair a
dress until age 6
That certainly IS interesting! Things have definitely changed...
I thought that too!
The way the pilgrims ate was very interesting to me. They ate with their hands and had a cloth over their shoulder for wiping their fingers off. I wish I could do that!!
Almost like a permanent pizza party - I'M IN!!
Very funny Mrs.Smith.........-I'm in too
I eat with my hands sometimes.
I do too
I learned that the Pilgrim boys and girls would wear 6 to 7 layers of clothes.
I guess they didn't have heat the way we do now - I'm glad we're in 2014!
In clothes what I found intresting was that boys had to wear dresses until they were 6
I wonder when that type of dress for boys started to change...?
I just learned that!
I like how Pilgrims eat with their hands.
Me too - who needs forks and knives?! :)
I think that it is interesting that the Pilgrams wore many layers of clothing. The Native Americans on the other hand were much less modest and only wore a loincloth or dress.
I think I'd like to fall somewhere in the MIDDLE of the Native Americans and Pilgrims
me too ...Mrs.Smith
I think that is because Native Americans depended on nature to survive.
I think the way the Native American boys would wear only a bow and arrow holder and some pants and sometimes shoes was cool that they did not wear a lot and was close to the earth.
Less clothing must have made it a lot easier to move around with hunting and gathering.
I think the games tab was cool because you lean about how the Colnists and the Native Americans played games like the nicker boker game.A lot of the games the Native people played the colnists played
The colonists probobly play the games so they could learn more about Native American life.
I found out that the Pilgrims kids learned part of the Bible.
I did not know that.Very interesting though!
The way that the Native Americans dressed was alot different then the Pilgrims
That is because they are from different places ,and Europe was very different at the time.
The piece I found intresting was how many chores the Pilgrims kids had to do. I thought that the Wamanoga kids didnt have as many chores to do. I also thought that the food was really neat I would really like to try duck or rabbit
We should consider ourselves very lucky that we did not have as many chores as they did back then! However, this did teach the children to be much more independent and responsible. As for the food, I love duck! I have yet to try rabbit, but would if given the chance.
I thought that how much clothing the Pilgrims wore was interesting because we are not familier with that.
Wasn't there duck at the first Thanksgiving?
Chores were very interesting because they were for all people.
there was a lot to do!
I know .....I know.....
I thought learning about the Pilgrims was fun. What Iliked about the Pilgrims was how there chores were not like what we do today. The girls had to muck the garding and add soil and animal droppings to the gardin.
The way that Pilgrims built their houses was cool.
How did they build their houses? Make sure you support your answers with proof from the readings!
I think how the Natives made thier houses were interesting because of how they made them.
They depended on nature to survive.
Make sure you support your comments with evidence from the text. By explaining how the houses were made, we will be able to agree/disagree and build on your comment.
The way the Pilgrims do there chores is that you had to get there own water. The Pilgrims had to get there own wood by yourself.
This is certainly different than our faucets and refrigerator water dispensers. We can also buy wood already chopped.
I am glad that I didn't live back then.I am sorry for the people who lived back then.
how do I get to the page we went on yesterday .I forgot.sorry

If i lived when the colonists and i was a little girl i would be tired of chores every day!!
I love how the pilgrims got there natural resources from nature.
Thanks mrs. Smith for showing me the blog it's so cool!!!!.
